John and the girls found the perfect place down in the park to practice balancing on the slackline. The girls love it and say they want to do it all day, every day.

The Bears
After they finished on the slackline, John and the girls ran into a momma bear and her 3 cubs. The mom was digging in the dumpster. John and the girls took off their shoes and crossed the creek to avoid them. It was an unusual sighting because it was 6pm.

So, it’s cold here with a little snow. The hummingbirds are freezing their tiny, little beaks off and are fueling up on some sugary deliciousness to stay warm.
Addison and I saw a VW Thing in Morrison this morning. She said it looked like a homemade jalopy. It was primer white.
John is still in Italy and missed his birthday here. But he did send a picture of his fancy hotel room.
